My focus has been in the nonprofit field—educational organizations, in particular (but I would like to expand my portfolio and take on varied projects!). I develop major gift proposals that raise funds for scientific and medical research and capital projects. This often involves translating technical subjects—like nanotechnology and quantum engineering—into something accessible and appealing to the non-scientist. Depending on the audience, that write-up can take the form of a lengthy, detailed description or a concise and well-structured summary. Once a program has been funded, I follow up with narrative and financial reports that convey the project’s progress and impact. I use Adobe InDesign to create attractive layouts for these presentations.

A born and bred Brooklynite, I’m a double NYU alum, holding a B.S. in marketing from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business and a Master of Public Administration from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.
